Silver Shadow is one of the smaller ships in the Silversea fleet, offering an intimate atmosphere with plenty of space for guests to relax. Carrying up to 392 guests and supported by 302 crew, she combines personalised service with spacious suites and an elegant, cosmopolitan onboard style. With one of the highest space-to-guest ratios at sea, you can enjoy a more relaxed experience, whether spending time in the ship's public areas or retreating to your suite.
Despite her smaller size, Silver Shadow offers a good choice of facilities, including several lounges, a swimming pool, spa and fitness centre. The ship's public spaces are designed to make the most of the ocean views, from the glass-surrounded Observation Library to the Panorama Lounge. You'll also find a boutique, casino and Connoisseur's Corner, providing plenty of options between time ashore and evenings onboard.
There are several places to unwind outdoors, including the Pool Deck, where you can relax on a sun lounger, take a dip in the swimming pool or enjoy one of the whirlpools. For a little indulgence, the Zagara Beauty Spa offers treatments including massages, facials and body wraps, while the adjoining beauty salon provides a range of hair and grooming services. The Fitness Centre is equipped with exercise equipment and also offers classes and personalised services.
When it comes to entertainment, the Show Lounge hosts theatrical performances and other productions, with tiered seating ensuring good views of the stage. You can also enjoy cocktails and piano music in the Panorama Lounge, browse the library in the Observation Lounge or try your luck in the casino. For a quieter evening, Connoisseur's Corner provides a dedicated space to enjoy a cigar and a choice of cognac or whisky.
Silver Shadow offers four restaurants, each bringing a different style of dining to the ship. The Restaurant is the main dining venue, serving a selection of international dishes alongside menus inspired by the destinations visited. La Terrazza offers breakfast and lunch buffets with live cooking stations, while dinner focuses on Italian cuisine, including handmade pasta and seafood.
For a more casual meal, The Grill serves salads, grilled seafood and steaks in a poolside setting. La Dame provides a more refined experience, with French-inspired tasting menus showcasing seasonal ingredients and carefully prepared dishes. With a choice of dining styles and settings, you can enjoy everything from relaxed poolside meals to more formal evenings, with fine wines available to complement your dining experience.
All accommodation aboard Silver Shadow is suite-based, with a choice of nine categories ranging from Vista Suites to the spacious Owner's Suite. Vista Suites offer large picture windows framing the ocean views, while the Classic, Superior and Deluxe Veranda Suites feature private verandas where you can enjoy the fresh sea air. Medallion and Silver Suites provide more generous living space, with larger verandas and separate seating areas.
At the top end of the accommodation range, Royal, Grand and Owner's Suites offer additional space and luxurious surroundings, with larger living areas and enhanced amenities. Across the categories, the emphasis is on comfort, with elegant furnishings and spacious interiors. Butler service is included as part of the Silversea suite experience, adding a personal touch throughout your stay.
